Midcentury Marvel
A design collaboration to transform a mid-century home into a modern work of art.
Collaborating with another designer, we transformed a mid-century home into a modern work of art. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s philosophy, our design focused on creating a seamless transition from the road to the front entrance, with a walkway that perfectly captured the essence of mid-century style.
To achieve this, we used modern materials such as crushed stone, modern landscape block walls, and concrete to complement the home's existing architecture. The walkway was carefully designed to showcase the stunning stained glass window, with lighting strategically placed to highlight the intricate details of the glass.
In addition to the walkway, we carefully hand-selected and placed each plant to enhance the overall design and complement the home's unique style. The result was a stunning and cohesive front entrance that perfectly captured the midcentury modern feel.
